MERRY CHRISTMAS 2005 to everyone...~!!!!

especially to friends who reads my blogs,
even to pple i dunno but reads my blog anyway.......

just went to x'mas mass at 9pm with elsie, my sis n parents.....
@ St. Vincent De Paul church, along YCK road.....

did my LTCL exam tt day, 22/12.....
i thank all my frens tt sent mi their blessings n wishes...

it helped mi to sooth off my stress....
i need you guys to join mi now in praying for good results for all in saf who took LT n LG in dec'05....

finally it's over......

hahahahah can relax n enjoy my year-end holidays le....

found out i still got 4 days offs....
so clear the whole of next week.......

as promised to kaya, that i will go out with her, brenda, nat n other trb guys....

we arranged to meet @ orchard....
on 23/12, fri after my exam....

only me, kaya n brenda could go...

the other guys not free...
(i wonder why..... hahahahaha~!)

nat had dental appt tt day...
haiz, so too bad....

brenda n me 1st time meeting outside eversince the exchange in camp...
so she probably was feeling a bit the "bu shou"

although we had chatted on msn b4....
she's my daughter too....

kaya had came to watch 2 saf concerts aft the exchange.....
so she kinda off still got see mi.... n ronnie.... n guosh n moo~!

brenda was also tired tt day, cos they had to b in sch earlier in the morning for the sec1s orientation....
performanc n all....

so she was rather quiet to herself....
hahahaha

was expecting her to be rather chatty too....
so there was still some ackward silence btw us.....

as for kaya.....
hahahahaha~!!!!!

she's the talkative kind...
almost like the talking version of the duracell bunny....

wont run out of things to talk abt....

as for me....
"wo shi shui bian de la"

as per normal....
i'm the easy going kind of person....

i can adapt to surroundings, pple rather easily...
unless it really irks me to death.....

hope the next outing got more pple around....
n with some program going on....
maybe makan session then go watch movie or a concert...

cos this outing was kind of arranged last minute n no program for the day...

went food republic to eat....
but brenda say she not hungry, kaya ate dessert only cos she's not tt hungry too
so they 2 sit opposite mi n see mi wolf down a big plate of duck rice....
hahahaha..... havent eaten anything b4 meeting them mahz....

so aft eating, we just took a train over to PS, went up to walk walk....
went into music plaza, saw a couple of frens ard....

then just roam abt PS~

my fren, kelvin called mi to meet mi at PS, to pass mi, ronnie n mine presents, from kelvin n zq....

aft tt, kaya had to go home,

i went to taka to meet elsie aft work,
went shopping in taka for our presents from my parents...
and also presents from us to my parents......

we picked bruan buffel wallets for us....
and couple of polo T's for my parents

and got some things for 4 of my bunk mates.... sin, ron, kel n zq....
(yeah 42~!!!! it's hanging on ur locker... heheheh~!)

had late dinner @ taka food court....

then sardine-packed ourselves into tibs 167 back to my camp n her house in yishun.....

well....

once again...

yest(thur)'s session @ kawai, millenia walk was so-so....

i tink i didnt do tt well....

maybe 1st time playing with this pianist(A)....
but she's very li hai....
pass her the scores on tue....
she thur can play le...
even better then pianist(B) lor....

but due to time constrain, only got to do 2.5 pieces...
i'm doing 4 pieces for my dip....

then this morning(fri) 2nd time reh with pianist(A) in camp...
sounds much bettter leh....
started with the 3rd piece, then the 4th... then go back to 1st n 2nd...

fine tune some of the more tricky places where both of us nid to be in sync...
esp. when there's the poco a poco accel....

but i tink shld be ok bah i hope...
hope she starts the pieces at the tempo we rehearsed...

hope i can do my best on the day...
cos now still not that firm yet....
my lips having pms...
mood swing... some times can sound so good,
some days.... no matter wad also was shitty blood like tt~!

haiz~!!!!

after work...

running ard to find n70...

so many places out-of-stock or no more the extra freebies~!!!!!

pray for me...

most prob will blog again next week aft my exam....

then results shld be out in jan'06~!!!!

hope can get my cert on SAF Bands AD+D'06...

then AD+D'07 can get my 1sg promotion and/or theory gd7 too...
then at least every yr got 1 cert to get~!!!

after COG,

the week, central band involved in the OCS parade... but i'm not involved.....

ronnie n guosheng down for the parade n rehs as actual....

the soccer captain didnt go for any of the 3 rehs days...
and actually turned up on sat for the ocs actual....

i guessed he was hoping that without going for any rehs, go on sat n show face....
then can caim 1 day off for working...

but...

guess wad.....

hahahaha......

he kana go down for the actual parade...

cos the band a guy not feeling well, then he had to take over his spot in the file...

hahahaha....
well.... at least if got pple say him, he can always say he earned his off by going down on the parade...

BAH~!

anyway, while half the central band went to safti for ocs rehs, combined with band A.

i was in camp practicing for my exams...

now 1 week b4 my exam, mi n 2 other frens have to switch pianist(B)...
cos the pianist(B) who was supposed to accompanied for us...

did a missing act.....

we tried to call him, sms him when he didnt turn up for the practice sessions with my 2 frens last week...
so until 14/12, tue, 1 of my fren is rather concerned about the pianist(B)'s behaviour n professionalism,
since he is supposed to be doing this for a living now....

so we switched to another pianist(A)...
we wanted to use pianist(A) in the first place, but she was also accompanying for my 3 other frens who's taking the same exams as us but with guildhall...
i'm taking trinity's...

so tt time we dun noe the exam dates for both schs, we were afraid that it might clash, n we tot it might be better if we get another pianist...
so we found pianist(B)......

so tml suppose to be a trial run @ the kawai studio....
now it ended up as a trial run as well as the first practice with pianist(A)....

stress.....

exactly 1 week b4 exam~!!!!!

busy week this week....

had a Guest-of-Honor reh @ istana,

Changing-of-Guards reh on thur n fri morning.....

just reach back home not so long ago...

had dining-in performance @ SAFTI-MI, for the graduating batch of officer cadets...

reached back camp ard 11++++pm...
then heavy rain...

sianz...
walk down to my bunk...
change then walk out of camp, took cab home...

a bit of the headache now~

3 of my colleagues having their Licentiate diploma exams this sunday, wishing them all the best..

mine is on 22nd dec...

and SAF Central Band is marching down orchard road this sunday..
we'll march off from the little road between Singtel Hello!shop and citibank/jack's place... turning into orchard road...
and march all the way down to Istana front gates...

where the handling over of guards duties will be carried out..
there will also be a silent precision drill squad from the SAF Provost Unit(Military Polices), performing their display n precision drill with M-16 rifles...

we'll march off @ 5.45pm sharp(if nothing goes wrong... good weather n stuffs~)
then the whole thing will end ard 630pm @ istana...

the band normally will be at our holding area behind hello!shop at abt 4pm onwards...

so family and friends do feel free to pop by if u're in the area...

I'm the President of the Trombone Society (Singapore) + Singapore Trombone Choir

I'm now looking to include more members(who can commit their thur evenings) into the Singapore Trombone Choir~!

The trb society is the working committee which plans n handles the adminstrations...
The trb choir is the performing group of the Trombone Society (Singapore)

the society n choir is a venue for trombone lovers to meet n interact, as well as exchanging pointers or learning from the more experienced trombonists...

Our present members comes from all walks of life...
from jc, poly, local universities, working adults(physiotherapist, sales rep, professor, conductors, saf bands....)

trombone players above the age of 16...
having graduated from sec sch in jc or poly bands now, or just taken o lvls can apply...

instrument is not provided... so u gotta bring your own...
be it your own or from your sch band or outside bands...

our practice is held weekly on thursday evening from 730-945pm @ a CC in Toa Payoh....
we grant our students n working members leave period during their exams or busy work schedules...

it's a fun place where we just come n practice on the instrument we all loved~
and learn from Mr. David Wong, and several other 'lao-shi'....~!
