my iPod(4G) 40GB was stolen from my bag in camp during this period..
Haiz.... sadz...
only way to recover from this loss is to get the new iPod Photo 60GB

I today Duty BOS while the rest of the bands on long weekend..
the whole unit cleared off except the 3 duty pple, clerks n aik kee..
went out in aik kee's car to buy breakfast...
cos canteen aunty not open..
then movie marathon..
they watched my wife is a gangster 2 while i wwas out....
followed by Bourne Supremacy....
then lunch time
we continued the marathon with Scary Movie 3,
and Biker Boyz...
then we went down the bunk to stone...

woke up, washed up then went to Accent Music to collect the Denis Wick Bass Trombone Wooden Straight Mute...
paid abt $99 for it...
ordered it for fun... try try lor..
went to elsie's workplace to see her for a while...
then i went to TPY to collect comics...
sianz... gf working... eating LJS alone...
went home, checked my emails then prepare to go violet's chalet...
sin called me when i just left my house, he wanna meet n go together..
so i told him to catch a cab from his house then come my place n pick mi up lor..
reach the chalet..
they all eat liaoz...
left shannon n charlene... cos they just reach b4 us..
noe charlene for few months liaoz...
but tonite the 1st time meeting her...
idiot~ just sit down only...
she start bitching me...
hmmm.... nv die b4 arh she..
so i dun hold back liaoz lor..
the whole nite she kana poke by mi n shannon...
ate the bbq, went out 7-11 to get drinks..
went back the chalet... they watching dvds..
then we started playing mj till 2am..
then sin, xuhong, me, charlene, shannon went to Chong Pang Nasi Lemak for supper n drinks..
slept from 5am till 6pm..

Duty BOS again today..
NO~! it's not i kana extra duty or wad..
hahaha~ but my fren went overseas during the weekend n couldnt come back to do duty today..
so i agreed to do his duty lor..
woke up in the morning.. ard 9am..
was surprise i actually could wake up so early...
turned on the tv... n saw got sesame street..
they acting out 'Peter n the Wolf' with the Boston Pops Orchestra
funny thing... saf central band is doing the peter & the wolf sketch... for the charity concert..
so i watch lor..
so cute....
then went down the cookhouse for lunch..
watch a new anime... Samurai7.... episodes 1-7...
watch some episodes of one piece... fell asleep while watching..
woke up... time for dinner liaoz..
so went to the cookhouse for dinner...
watch tv...
then gary came back...
he passed me the naruto anime, one piece... and he happened to use his pc to record the sesame street this morning...
so he transferred it to me too~
watch Samurai7 episodes 8-9....
then fell asleep at 4am...

then stone in the office till the taking duty pple arrive..

had tuition with david today, after lunch...
then watched Samurai7 episodes 10-14..
after work took cab n rush to VCH..
tonpang morrison to vch...
cos he staying near there at chinatown...
bought my ticket for the Crescent girls concert..
cos 1 of the gers... wanqi, bought n came for the trb choir concert...
so i agreed to go n support her's...
so i'm there... watched it with shaowei n soh hong... they happened to go watch too..
wanted to leave aft 1st half..
but i found out tt a fren of mine is their percussion tutor there....
and the 2d half perc. items is composed n chereograph by him...
so i stayed n watch the whole concert..
after concert, took cab n went back camp to stay in..

this morning we going to the Engineer's MPH for the concert reh..
shortly aft the reh started..
i received a call from kaiyi... that the canteen aunty found my bag at the whitehouse canteen..
when i went there for breakfast... i left my bag with my inst. case n mute...
but, it was shifted by my frens when they came to eat with me..
so when i got off to go for reh, i didnt see the bag that might had slided down the back of the seat...
so i got my case n mute n left for reh...
haiz...
everything was still intact.. my ic, camp pass... my wallet, hps luckily was with me at that time..
BUT~!!!!! argh~! the most expensive item.... my 3 months old 40GB iPod 4G was stolen together with a new pack of cigarettes..
sianz~ curse the idiot who took them n left my bag there...
haiz~
so sianz... now 1st dec liaoz... n i still cant get over it...
anyway... left camp tt day, went to meet elsie..
had dinner at northpoint kfc..
then went home...
sianz the whole nite lor... slept thru it..
then went back camp...

took the NEL to sengkang and change bus home,
went to check out the new sheng song supermart tt open just beside my block..
then went home..
watched Ella Enchanted..
sent elsie down, to catch a cab home..
stayed at home tonite.

cos got a performance later at 2pm..
trb choir, performed at paragon..
eileen, joseph, peiling, raymond, zhengqiang n jinxing came to watch the perf. with quite a few of the bps kids tt went moulmien pract just now..
after the perf. went to eat with them..
went over to bhso to collect my cheque...
then went over to cecilia's place..
her kid's 1 yr old b'day..
meet violet for dinner aft tt then went back camp..

welcome thingy for the brunei chief of defence...
then reach back camp ard 10am...
and we had full band for concert from 1030am till 1230pm..
noon... we had early fall out for working early this morning..
went to nyp...
been a long time since i went back to nyp..
decided to go back, cos my eileen asked mi to..
new sl, n they rehearsing for coming concert... dunno how to sort the parts for the section..
so i went down to offer her some advise lor..
and had supper with them b4 going back to camp..

it's the SAF Charity Concert with the community chest..
central band performing... just like a normal concert..
but.. the programme was designed for the target audience of the night..
the kids... and for those young at heart..
we played the Main Street Electrical Parade... it's a piece... containing medley of songs performed at Disneyland..
the Main Street electrical parade happens every nite... to mobile column heavily decorated with lightings..
with theme n characters from all the disney storys..
next is a piece call Yankee Doodling..( an introduction to the wind band for young pple)
like wad the title suggests... this piece is a young person guide to the wind band n the instruments in it...
this piece has a theme n variations structure to it... the main melody is played in the opening.... then variations of it is performed by the different sections, instruments of the wind band..
1st by the woodwinds - the "lighting speed" piccolo/flute, the "long winded" oboe, the "colorful" clarinet, the "cool blue saxy" sax followed by the "mysterious" bassoon..
then the brasses - "long-tubed" french horns, the "interrupting" trumpets, the "cool gliding" trombone, the "melodious" n foundation of the wind band... the Euphs n Tubas...
then the Percussion...
then the band comes together again..
in a fugue... in the same order of appearance..
20mins intermission..
but got guessing... 5 of our players left standing on the stage... playing their inst one by one... n the emcee went off stage to ask the kids, wad inst are they...

peace n happiness n they managed to convert the wolf to be a good creature....
and with tt... is the Children's March~!
the concert ended with a bang~!
literally n figuratively.. cos we had balloons dropping off from the balcony, santa claus throwing presents, 2 gigantic steamers poppers fired in sync from both balcony~!
after concert, went supper with violet, ronnie, kay lim, gilbert n selamat.....
then both some cocktail back camp to drink...

wanted to wake up n go nyp in the noon, cos today i took off...
then go expo check out the SitEx...
but there was some drama in camp last nite..
so had to take care of both party.... ended up sleeping only ard 7+am..
woke up at 4pm..
changed plans n meet elsie at northpoint, eat at LJS then went back home..
watched Peter Pan...
then went back camp..

didnt really check out the other booths.. cos abt the same as the ComEx i went 3 months ago..
took a mrt to tampines... bought a shirt from G2000 for Andrew's Wedding...
went to my grandma's place after tt..
had a shower and a bit of dinner b4 going to the wedding at Raffles Hotel...
it's a classy Ang Mo kind of wedding... but with the traditional Yum n the Sengs~! lol~!

had lunch at TPY's Mos Burger b4 going for practs..

went back to TPY to collect my comics..
waited for WJ at the HDB hub delifrance...
cos she's still at the cc for meeting..
was suppose to meet n go back camp together...
but, violet needed mi to go back n help her cover her duty while she go out to see a doctor..
she's not been feeling well since i saw her in thr morning in camp..
so i went back... n helped her manned the phone..

we had cog full band..
then a short break...
b4 going for our cog rounds..

oh yes... one of the nsf tt left in feb for further studies..
is back during his holidays to serve the remaining 1 months of his service..
but he still got abt 15 days leaves, some offs..
end up only be ard for 1 wk..

"Polar Express" - it's a bery nice show...
it just reminds me of how much i love the month of December and X'mas...
i not sure i loved it since a kid... or since my ex-gf Grace whom agreed to be my gf in dec'95 just a week b4 X'mas...
or b'cos i went US in dec'02? not sure... but i have always felt more relax, happy n carefree in dec...
or maybe it's the year end bonus, block leaves/offs? lol~
hahaha~
anyway.... yes, this movie warmed me~ there are several scene tt seems like a roller-coaster ride... if it's going on imax theatre in s'pore... i definately would wanna watch it again..
aft the movie... went to the northpoint food court..
got a new stall there..
a australian fish 'n' chips / steak place..
order 2 plates..
$9 for a ribeye steak
$6 for a fried fish, potato chunks, salad..
the steak was nice done midde~ the fish doesnt have the common fishy smell or taste... it's so fresh....
send her to the busstop then i took bus back tp camp..

Hi All,
sorry for not updating my blog...
as u guys knows, esp those tt follows my blog...
i only update my blog when i home from camp...
esp. on the weekends on sat nite....
but i have been on duty or got to work in camp over the last weekends tt's why i didnt have the chance to add new entrys in...
3 weeks have passed by so briefly..
wad went thru was....
i went overseas twice...
hahahahaha...
1 is to jb again~! hahahaha..
didnt wanted to buy much... but i ended up getting 15 ps2 games, 17 dvds, 13 comics...
then i went to pulau tekong...

last time i went not sure when... felt like was 2 yrs ago... with central band...
but my frens said they remembered coming here last yr... dunno lah...
anyway, this time went there is for the ASLC(Advanced Section Leader Course) passing out parade at SIspec(School of Infantry Specialists)...
sispec, where trainees mostly fresh from after bmt, are posted into sispec where they learn more detailed stuffs abt infantry thingys and leadership...
so they'll help and assist the frens who become officers aft OCS, to lead their other frens from are posted straight to units as infantrymen.
the present sispec alpha n bravo company is using the 6 storey building tt used to b my bmt building...
i remembered the stores was on the grd flor, company line on 2nd flr, my platoon was lucky... on the 3rd flr... hehehehe~!
we had a basketball tournament on 27th oct for saf bands... 2 teams from each bands n 1 team from the training wing..
the tournament was posponed to 3rd nov halfway due to heavy rain n threats of lighting~
comes 3rd nov, it rained again... n was posponed again to 8th nov..
my team played very well on the first day... winning 4/4 matches..
then on 8th nov... we continued to win the rest of the preliminary matches...
so we won 6/6 matches... then semi-final we won..
but on this day.. our 3 reserves wasn't ard due to different reasons, the rest of the team, exactly 5 of us left... played all the matches on 8th nov...
due to tt, the strength of the other team in the finals... n the fact tt all the audience of kind of anti-ing my team during the finals... we lost the final match 12-8 to the team from band A..
maybe some of my team mates were rather agressive in their playing tt caused everyone to hate us... n they started cheering for the band A team... n also.. tt other team have rather stronger team then us..
but i'm glad tt central band managed to get into the finals anyway~!
saf bands had a new first... we celebrated hari raya n deepavali at the same time on 9th nov...
the whole band reported to work at 130pm... then changed to our civillian clothings at 530pm to attend the function..
it started with a video presentation, introducing us n educating us on their muslim n indian culture...
followed by a short q'n'a session with prizes, a box of assorted malay kueh-kuehs...
then we went over to the front foyer n collected our dates n a cup of drinks n were encouraged not to eat or drink yet... n to wait till the break fast time n we break fast together with our muslim frens...
the time came, n 2wo hussin lead the muslim in their evening prayer... n after tt our feast begins... chicken briyani... n we all sat on the food to eat, n using our right hand only to eat.. ala muslim style...
10 nov, the band had our 2nd ippt test... n i'm in charge of organizing the store equipment needed for the tests...
but oh man... didnt really feel very well since the meal last nite... i tink the chilli gravy was too potent for me..
been going toilet several times last nite... n a few more times thru-out the day today...
feeling kinda weak now... gtg rest liaoz...

but i still have a 2nd hand 'Miraphone' tenor trombone tt i'm helping a friend of mine to sell off....
her asking price is abt S$1,600 now... she bought it late last yr for more then S$2,500++
the price is negotiable... students can try to ask for more discount....
so if you're interested in taking a look at this trb or wanna test drive the thing before deciding... do msg me back...
payments must be in cash... either whole amount or not more then 3 instalments.
(if by instalments, u'll receive the instrument in parts too)
