another week have passed~
16th oct, sat
aft coming back from jb last sat...
watch a anime full metal panic till 5am... then slept till 3pm...
17th oct, sun
stoned at home...
went down to the foodcourt to buy my dinner...
watch full metal panic till 11pm then went back to camp...
18th oct, mon
morning having p.t.
they played captain's ball..
i joined in.... been a while since i last play or participated in a game...
then rest for a while...
change into my uniform then went for my tuition...
tuition... tried some more pieces to choose for my next exam..
shld be taking Licentiate dip from trinity college of music...
aft work, went to north point to have dinner with sin, kong, cK and ronnie...
went to walk walk ard north point aft dinner... bought a pack of tealight candle(100pcs) for $4.90 at watsons...
cos i got 2 aromatherapy burner in my store/office... then i bought a aroma oil from bodyshop the other day... i tink 2-3 weeks ago? it's Calm Water by Bodyshop...
aft tt went back to camp...

sight reading full band by SSG Aik Kee...
aikkee is the one tt just came back from kneller hall....
saf sent him for the band master's course in kneller hall 3 yrs ago...
now 3 yrs later... he's back, with a degree in bandmaster... with honours or distinction... something like... and also the best student or best overseas student for his batch...
now waiting to be commissioned as a SAF officer... so for now he's still a SSG = Staff Sergeant... cos b4 he went for the course, he's oledi a ssg...
having quite a few sight reading full bands now cos of choosing pieces for next feb's concert...
pm - didnt do much... spent it in my store/office...
aft work, meet zhongqing n gary for dinner at northpoint crystal jade... cos my b'day they bought something for me... so i treated them to dinner lor...
went walk @ northpoint again... bought 2 earstuds.... and a 60's feel streamer... using the it as a divider for my store/office... cos i wan to decorate at the same time divide my store into 2... so tt the inner portion is accessile to me only... cos that's where i jeep my store items...
and if those guys wanna draw the items from me... they have to wait in front of the table lor~ ^_^*

put up the streamer in my store...

help tham to burn 3 cd-r... ripped 2-3 cds from the saf bands library... then ectracted the pieces tt tham taking for his licentiate dip from guildhall college of music...
cos he wanna listen to how's it sounds like mahz...
he's doing 3 pieces... same as weiji... a handel, paul hindermith and one more i forgot by who...
pm - those discs we bought last sat arrived...
then i took violet's cd to rip into my laptop...
aft work, meet elsie for dinner at crystal jade... hahahah yah again... cos i like the food there...
nice... esp. the xiao long bao, the spared ribs la mian, red-oil beef la mian.... and the guo tie~!!!
then went to watch a movie with her at yishun10... watched sky captain~
the movie's plot so-so... acting so-so... angelina jolie's cameo so-so... sianz... she only a extra in this movie... boring~

then dunno y... cos maybe they running ard white house so i joined in...
walked ard it for 2 rds... then i ran for 2 rds... not suppose to run for me, cos i on excuse...
hahahah run liaoz... felt quite shiok... but my legs was hurting a little... haiz... old liaoz..
joint not working le... still dunno my knees n feets still nid to go for op or not...
hahahhaa... imagine go for op... n change to bionic legs..
hahahahaha all the saf bands pple with excuse... so go op n change to bionic parts...
then we're the bionic band..... like as if the bionic6 cartoon..
then stayed in my store n watch another anime series... this time a series call full metal alchemist...
pm - got a debrief by the RSM for the ippt conducted by the band last week...
aft work... didnt go for trb choir pract...
cos stayed behind to trained for the basketball tournament for the saf bands...
watched s'pore idol then walked out with sin, kiat n lim chow for dinner outside camp...
was watching the FMA when johnson from band A came over n pass me the rest of the final 5 discs of FMA... i got it from him... then i ripped it into my laptop n burn it out into dvd-r(.avi files mahz)....
then played mj with wenjing, winston n kelvin... long time nv play mj liaoz... hahaha~
aft tt contnued to watch FMA till i fell asleep...

morning got brass sectional taken by alvin for the coming nov concert...
we're playing peter n the wolf... yandee doodling (an introduction to band for young kids), variations from a kitchen sink...
pm - went down to stone in the bunk cos they wanna do an inventory check in the bunks...
aft work, went to bras basah there to pay my resort instalment...
then took train to tpy to collect my comics... then took bus 73 home...
slept rather early...

went to acs(i) this morning for tutorial.... been a while... they finally resume tuition with the tutors...
but today only from 9-1030am cos the sec 1 join the sec2-3s for combine liaoz... cos the sec4s grad for o lvls...
then took a bus 74 home... forgot tt fenzzy got sch today... only realized it aft my bus passed her sch(sim) at np...
maybe next week sms her ask her wanna meet for lunch or not~
bought my lunch from food court... yong tau fu~
watched FMA from episodes 19-31... fell asleep ard 1130pm... then woke up just now at 130am... then elsie sms mi to ask whether i still awake or not...
then i called her back to say good night to her lor...
i seem energetic again... tink i will continue cheong FMA.... hahahah... i might be able to finish watching the series in a week...
cos total 51 episodes only~ hehehe~ 20 episodes more to cheong tonite...

9th oct, sat..
i ended up going to my grandma's place for dinner...
tok to her a bit... tok cock with my cousin...
then went back home ard 1030pm...
called elsie.. tok to her for a while... then say goodnite to her...
10th oct, sun...
slept till abt 4pm....
then showered and took a cab to botanic garden to watch the SAF Parade Bands' performance...
the performance with 2wo goh conducting national anthem, followed by Cpt yusri taking 2 pieces n Ssg aik kee taking 3 pieces, followed by Cpt johnson lee finishing the performances with 4 pieces.... Cpt lee also conducted the encore: "Bandstand"....
then i followed the band A bus back to camp... took a shower then went out for dinner with wenjing, violet n kay lim...
slept...
11th oct, mon..
didnt felt well in the morning... so went out to see doctor...
then took my brother to lunch at amk mos burger...
then went home n rest..
elsie came over aft sch, went to the 24hrs coffeeshop near my house for dinner, ate prata, thosai n indian rojak...
then went home n watch dvd...
then took a cab and sent her back home...
12th oct, tue..
aft i got off the cab, received an sms from elsie wishing me happy birthday at 12.03am.... yes everyone... it's my birthday.... then i receive an sms from fenzzy wishing mi happy birthday at 12.04am...
so sweet rite both my darlings.... ^_^
went to sleep...
morning full band, sight reading....
afternoon prepared the store equipments needed for tml's ippt test...
then told elsie to grab a cab from her place n come pick mi outside my camp gates..
continued to singpost at paya lebar mrt... to meet my fren... getting some vouchers from him...
cos he's my prudential agent also.. then the stuff i invested in earned me $150 worth of meals vouchers...
then meet my family at 8pm at the mrt... took my dad's car to parkway parade...
so long nv come here liaoz..
i used to be an easterner.... then parkway was where we used to frequent during the weekends...
n my sec sch was so near parkway...
so i treated my family to dinner at pastamania... cos dunno wad to eat...
ordered a baked pasta, a bacon spagetti, a mushroom linguine, 1 meal-lovers pizza, 1 mushroom pizza, 1 cheese tottellini... n 6 sets of meal A...
parkway have changed so much... esp. from 3rd flr up... couldnt even recognise it... n upstair also got a giant supermart....
bought some groceries n my birthday cake then went home...
reach home cut cake then stoned for awhile before going back to camp...
found out tt it's jiahui(trb choir)'s birthday tml... so we argeed to buy one another a slice of cake... n exchange on thur's choir pract....
reach back camp, showered n slept...
13th oct, wed
ippt test today...
1st time saf bands is conducting it ourself...
lasted till ard 10am...
stand down till lunch...
i'm also the B.O.S. today....
so after work locked up office then wanted to go down...
but got problem transferring the office line to the bunk..
so aft a few calls, was told to stand in the office to man the phone..
then at 10pm finally got hold of my D.O., and he say just give my hp to the camp's ops rm in case they need to find mi then ask mi to go down to bunk lor...
chey, so simple....
so i went down to the bunk, stoned, showered n slept after calling elsie...
14th oct, thur...
morning got full band, and i'm the duty specialist today...
pm, stoned in camp....
aft work, went to tpy...
bought my comics, and bought a piglet soft toy and a slice of cake for jiahui...
pract started quite late, cos dave n the 3 scm came late...
after pract, went supper with dave, wil, wang n songyos...
then took a cab back...
so tired.... knocked out~
15th oct, fri...
morning full band by maj tng...
went thru 2 of the pieces for the nov concert...
pm, lunch break till 2.30pm..
went down to bunk for some cleaning up...
2wo ong going round for inspection of central band's bunk...
then i went home at 4pm... cos of 1hr time-off for the ippt working party...
meet elsie at yishun interchange, took bus 854 home...
watch white chick...
eat porridge for dinner cooked by my mum...
then had a nap... before elsie went home...
got up... suddenly kept sneezing n running nose...
elsie called mi to say good nite..
then on irc, tok to lifeng... was her consultant for the nite...
then aft tt went to sleep...
16 oct, sat..
slept till 1+pm..
wash up then went to meet violet, wenjing, shannon, kenneth lun to go jb...
went to holiday plaza.... got some classical dvds....
then went to teman sri tebrau, Da-Ma market for late-lunch...
ordered begger's chicken, butter clayfish, maize prawns, dou miao, deer meat, orh-lua(fried oysters).....
then we came back to singapore ard 8pm... cos ken n shan rushing to go westwinds pract...
then i took mrt home myself...
now online lor.....

What i have here is a tenor trombone made
by 'Miraphone' company. It was bought 1st hand
by my friend ard last quartet 2003.
She would like to sell this trombone as she has no
more use for it... cos she has decided to go
overseas to further studies and it will take abt
several years b4 she returns...
and she doesnt wish for this instrument to be left in
her storeroom collecting dust...
so now i'm given the task of selling this cool horn
to any interested buyer....
it looks almost like a Bach 42bo... yellow brass
bell, open wrap.
She bought it for abt S$2.8k, and she would like to sell it for abt S$1.6K.
The price is reasonable and negotiatable~

i've been using my bam case for abt 2 yrs now~
it's a great case, but i'm tinking of getting another with a harder shell, so tt i can use it when going overseas trips....
i have not decided on when to buy the new case, n when n how much to sell this one....
so if there's anyone interested, do contact me to offer me a good price~ tempt me n i might sell it now... cos i got an older reunion blues bag tt's collecting dust now anyway....
it's priced at S$500 ard the time when i bought it.... now new one is abt $600+++ almost $700? rough guess....
the condition of the bag... inside is still good,
i took care of the outside, by wiping n polishing the outer surface...
but several areas have wear n tears... nothing major... the strap is strong n comfy....
the paddings in the internal offers good protection for my bass trombone.... just tt it's ok for local usage... not really recommended for overseas travelling/touring uses~

This week, was rather monotonous for me...
didnt do much, didnt encountered much...
had my lesson with David on monday, was going thru some of the concertos tt i got from him last thur.... then trying out.... after that asked for his recommendations on which of the pieces i shld take for my Licentiate Diploma exam....
in the afternoon, spent it by photostating those exam scores....
Tuesday was full band, sight reading for the coming nov's concert.... heard that it'll a in harmony cum CDF charity concert....
so this concert will be a fun thing, with sketches, children's pieces like peter n the wolf....
Wednesday, had a stoning morning.... afternoon sport and games.... but the regulars were gather for a presentation by the RSM, LIFE dept and Store Dept...
Thur, morning got a combine run for the whole of SAF Bands.... then afternoon got GOH @ Mindef, i tink was the air force chief or some high ranking air force guy from qatar(not sure, but saw the flag is white n brown, then someone guess is Qatar)....
Fri, went to JB with my SL.... bought some dvds, some games, some comics, PS2 controller and memory card...
rushed back to camp by 2.30pm... for the ORD function....
new term.... for my blog readers? ORD = the date where our NSFs are release from their national service and regain their civillian status.... and from then on they'll be known as NSmen, doing their reservist for the next 15 cycles~! cos the band doesn't have reservist terms.... normally these guys will be posted to infantrymen or combat medics or signallers...
so the ORD function for the band, we just present these guys with a plaque thanking them for their contribution n hard work for the band for the last 2+yr..... followed by some light refreshments...
Sat, i'm here stoning in my room at home.... woke up ard a11+am.... watched episodes 13-24(last) of an anime Scrapped Princess...... now starting on the next anime: Full Metal Panic.... not sure wad to do now for the rest of the day, continue rotting at home or go visit my grandma in tampines.... haiz~!

So tiring this week~
gotta to report to work earlier then usual almost everyday of this week...
Monday had full band the whole day, morning was sight reading conducted by Maj Tng, then afternoon was parade full band conducted by 2WO Ong, he went thru the pieces for COC and OCS...
COC = Change of Command = some commanding officer of a certain unit has served at least 2 yrs in command position of tat certain unit, and either he's been sent to another unit or he's retiring from SAF.. for this case, this naval officer is retiring, a COL.
OCS = Officer Cadet School = the camp besides the Singapore Discovery Centre...
a batch of officer cadets are passing out lor... then the band is playing for tt parade... normally is parade band main band, then central supporting. this time supporting with abt 27 players...
Tue, morning went to Tuas naval base for the parade reh.. after the reh, went to canteen... bought 2 cups of the honeydew juice with hershey's chocolate syrup~!!! powerful... last time i had it was like more then 2 yrs ago in tt very camp... the fruit juice stall there very powerful.... Fusion-Juice stall... hahahah~!
then afternoon got early fall out for us.... but i hang ard office doing my stuff, then went outside camp for dinner... aft dinner, got back to my bunk n knocked out till next day morning~!
Wed, didnt do much today, pretty much sport and games the whole day... afternoon had a briefing by 2WO Chua regarding tuition program, some changes and stuffs.. then followed by 2WO Razak's briefing abt the presentation that the key appt pple have to prepared~
aft work, went out for dinner, and fell asleep almost immediately again~! -_-" woke up at abt 1am, elsie sms me at abt 12am to call her.... haiz, sorry.... both nites didnt call you back to sing good nite song~!
Thur, started work at 7am today... cos today, saf bands 1st time taking ippt in ngee soon camp, today is handled by other units, then the one will be conducted by our own pple... so today those station i.c. and support i.c. have to report with band B to check out how the ippt is conducted.... band B taking their ippt today...
afternoon, completed the powerpoint needed for the appt presentation... aft work went to David's place... the trb choir gathering at his place to watch the concert and have a debrief of the concert... also discussing future plans and targets~!
stayed at his place till ard 2+am..
took a cab back to camp.... alighted at the coffeeshop outside camp... cos to late/early to go in camp now...and i havent had dinner.... so i ordered some dim sum, cos only the dim sum is open.... then sit there till 4am... then walked into camp... took a short nap b4 starting work at 630am...
Fri, starting work at 630am cos today is the COC aat tuas naval base....
Pm, show terry n 2wo razak the presentation tt i did... green light, will use it to present the stores of the SAF Bands~! early fall out today, but i stayed behind cos later got a bbq session organized by the contruction company 'Great Earth', they are the ones responsible for the renovations and building of the mdc building in white house.... and they just officially handled over the building to us completely. and it sort of the thank you n farewell dinner.... will miss Mr 'Botak' Wong's story of his conquests... fare thee well~
Sat, got home abt 11pm last nite.... then online till abt 5am in the morning... slept n woke up at abt 5pm.... showered then went down for dinner at the food court before going to NUS's UCC to watch elsie's concert with the ITE Jazzband... the ITE having a musicial... then i heard tml's shows(Sunday, 3 Oct) 3pm and 8pm is free and open to public~! -_-"
after concert, went home... stayed over~! ^_^"
Sun morning, Elsie got a call from her band-mate, they suppose to be at UCC by 930am... so she left to go to UCC at abt 9am... stone... took she can go later or wad... after she left... i took out my cds and slowly convert them into aac format for my iPod... then maybe go to her concert again later to pick her and go back yishun together at nite lor...
