woke up at abt 5pm... cos i slept at 5am in the morning...
shiok.... hibernating again....
my favourite past-time~
hahahah~
i'm not been called a bear for nothing...
so got up, took a shower...
and left my house to go to my cousin's wedding...
didnt went to the church thingy in the morning..
but saw slide show of the church pics at the hotel ballroom...
normal church ceremony, but he was dressed in his pressed RSAF LTA no.1 uniform..
and aft the ceremony while walking down the aisle, going out of the church,
there's the sword bearers(barriers), at each stop, he had to perform a task or answer a question....
then the wedding was a rather quiet event compared to my colleague jonathan's one...
maybe it was just us saf bands pple been noisy....
or my cousin's rsaf buddies not at the dinner...
cos only like got 2-3tables screaming the trad. 3 yum seng...
so i was placed at table 17 with 2 of my aunties' families, with my 6 other cousins... all females... stress~
hahahah~
last time i saw them was at CNY'04 i tink...
then heard from my cousin wendy tt my mum might be flying back to S'pore in dec again for visiting~
then the courses came n went...
the food not bad~
and oh, it was held at the Trader's Hotel....
just besides tanglin mall....
then the dinner ended ard 1030pm..
then i say my good byes to my uncles, aunties, my por por~
n my cousin's mum who nv see mi for so long was happy to see mi..
can remember last time young when my mum comes back to s'pore, she will stay with my this cousin's family...
my cousin's dad which is my mum's only brother...
but sadly, my uncle passed away when he met an accident during his overseas attachment to Indonesia...
my uncle was a warrant officer in the RSAF
tt happened when i was saf band training wing...
tt's abt in 1998?
so eversince then my aunt have been taking care of my cousin n his brother...
n i nv get to see this aunty till today~
so happy that 1 of her son is now happily married, my cousin's speech, contains many thanks to pple who helped out in the planning of the wedding... but his biggest thank you was reserved to the last, n he thanked his mum... for taking care of him.... esp. single handedly aft his dad has left the family....
and he says his dad, now in heaven, shld be looking down upon and feeling happy for them now~
and with tt brought tears of joy to my aunt's eyes~
aft dinner, walked round tanglin mall...
so much memories from there...
cos it was near my old camp...
the dinner session with my camp buddies, or the que-ing outside macdonald's during the hello kitty craze... hahahah~!
well, those were the days my friends~

The Jazz Delights concert was damn freaking happening~!
it was a massive jamming session~!
shiok~!
bery different from the usual mainstream band music~!
enjoyed myself performing~!
but pity both my meows not here tonite~
told my gf not to come last minute, cos they not going to let mi go home st8 from the hall...
so i didnt want her to go home alone....
cos usually my poly band jrs will company her to mrt n take north line... but my poly jrs cant come tonite cos of the poly band's pract tonite, n they having last pract b4 performance this sat... so they cant pond pract to come concert...
then fenz cant come cos her fren cant company her come so she's not coming also~!

this concert like kana left alone... no meows, fans or supporters....
play finish go back camp n took a cab home..
so practically the whole of this week was spent having full bands for the concert just now n tomolo nite's dining-in at SAFTI-MI, the graduating batch's ACPC dinner....
but i not involve tml... hahaha tt's y i'm home~
n it's my cousin's wedding tml.... so i'll tok more abt it tml~ bye~!!!!

Hi all,
i'm back~!
wow...
this yr has been really a very hectic one for mi...
i tot i could rest like the previous yrs aft ndp...
like in 2001, i actually took a week break to go thailand...
haiz...
the groups tt i'm in all having performances/concerts almost one aft another...
aft the sat performance at the orchard mrt park...
on the 8th Sept...
i have the Singapore Trombone Choir's Inaugural Concert..
i would say the concert is a huge success to us...
the audience did responded well to our gimmicks n stunts...
we were rather unsure whether our taste of humour is in the local audience's flavour....
well, as i mentioned in the earlier blog, the trb choir was a success also cos we sold all 190 of our selling tickets.... n out of the 55 reserved for the invited guests n vips, more then half of them actually turned up...
hmm, it's great when a new group have support like that from you guys,
i would like to thanks all those who got their tickets thru me, all who helped to push the sales of the tickets~! arigato~! ^_^'
those who called but couldnt get ticket, we trying to come out with audio(cd) n video(dvd) recording of the concert....

didnt noe tt my blog has more readers besides fen-dear~! i went to philyouth in-house concert at la salle, i went to the 2nd show @ 7pm....
i help 2 of my frens to do a video recording of the concert...
aft the concert, spoke to some of the py members, then one of the trb guy told me tt he couldnt get tics to the choir concert... then i ask him how he knew abt the concert, he said he got it off my blog.... hmmm.... ok~

eversince i starting blogging early this yr.... i tot only sueanne, fjozn n fenz was my only readers, n fenz been the most regular one cos she left her marks in my tagboard.... guess i forgot... this is the internet... pple walk in n out all the time without leaving much of a trace that they were here there or wad....
i feels worse then a prostitute.... although she doesnt noe who's she's serving most of the time, but at least she noe wad they look like~ -_-"

i got a great job, pay's ok, my bunk now is damn cooling at nite, my rm at home is air-con, i got a gf, i got u(fenz), i got my own bass bone, i got so many new toys now, my powerbook, my ipod, my comics n stuffs....
doubt there's much tt could affect my life, mood....
unless it's sad news, devastating news... like deaths, break-ups, theft, loss, bankruptcy...
nah, i'm doing fine....
in a world we're in now, how many actually could say tt they're doing fine...

Hi all...
i'm sorry i didnt blog for like 3 weeks liaoz
...
was rather occupied in my work n new laptop...
so i do a brief of wad happen during this 3 weeks...
15th Aug was my colleague's Jonathan's wedding... went for his dinner...
then the weekdays was
routinal...
wed n thurs evening was trombone choir rehs.... almost every nite i got rehs n only met elsie for once a week....
then the 20th aug, fri evening ... i after work went to support my fren's concert...
no he's wasnt one of the performers.... but he's the conductor..
he's none other then Mr Yap Soonsoon...
he's conducting pierce sec sch band for an in-house concert...
sat, wad i do...?
sun went to bhso reh....
then elsie came to my house in the morning... so she stayed in my place while i went to pract from 3pm-6pm...
mon-fri(23rd-27th aug) rehearsals for today's performance at the orchard mrt park... the 50 hrs music marathon... saf bands took 2 of the time slot.. 3pm-4pm is the SAF Stage band n combo band.. 4pm-5pm is the SAF Central Band.... ...
wed, thur the trb choir practs....
wed nites.... we booked the function rm at adrian's condo for our practs....
cos now closer to concert..
we cant just have the normal once a week practs...
then thurs is back at the cc for reh...
then fri took pm half day off... 27th aug...
went to comex with shannon.... check out the computer fair...
bought a 80gb external hard drive, a all-in-1 printer, a portable tv as special price from shannon's printer offer...
tempted shannon to get a mac powerbook with me~
then i got a cab to...
nyp...
cos they got a combine arts group thingy..
but it's mainly the dance n drama pple... then band or rather the nyp orchestra... was quite extra there...
cos the orchestra stoned for 20min from the start of the show.... then play 1 piece.... then stone for another 20mins... then play a medley of pieces... and they are band pieces.... hahahaha..... with the strings playing some of the woodwinds parts... hahahahah~! ^_^~then they stone till the end of the show...
here comes the best part...
eileen... my jr in nyp trb...
sms mi and ask mi whether can i play for the sat show...
fri's was the gala nite... they playing for 2 nite... fri n sat...
fri gala nite, the invited guest was former Chief Denfence Force lor... LG lim chuan poh lor...
so she say one of the trb got an alumni concert to play on sat nite so can i sit in for her for the nyp 2nd nite of the show...
i say ok lor... boh pianz....
heng i said ok..
cos the trb section suppose to b 5 playing...
2 1st, 2 2nd n 1 3rd...
i was suppose to cover for the 2nd trb ger....
but on sat nite...
the orchestra on stage waiting for the audience to come in liaoz...
the other 2nd trb guy not ard... cant contact him at all...
lucky got mi, or else they no 2nd part for the 2nd nite lor..
hahahahahha...~
then b4 this 2nd nite thingy..
had an audition for 5 companies of recruit from tekong..
auditing to join band...
then afternoon i went for bhso's last reh...
cos sun... cos hahahha...
in 3 nites... i attended 3 concerts...
1 as audience... the other 2 as performer..
haiz..
now u noe y i so busy...
practically no time to go home n update my blog...
go home also tired.....
so sun 29th aug,
shannon went back to the comex on sat to order his 12" powerbook...
so i went this morning to order mine... a 15" mac powerbook
then i went over to clifford pier to wait for jinxing to fetch mi to s.c.h. ...
bhso's concert...
an evening of brahm's...
at Singapore Conference Hall..
was surprised tt they booked sch... i tink it's their first time there also...
so concert started...
1st half i only play the 1st piece...
then can leave the stage liaoz..
cos the 2nd piece... also the last piece of 1st half....
is a violin concerto - played by a guest violinist...
then intermission..
2nd half....
also 2 pieces... but this time both pieces i playing...
and encore was hungarian dance no.5...
took mrt to orchard to meet elsie aft her work...
then journeyed back to yishun together...
then i went back to camp...
mon-fri(30th aug-3rd sept)
routinal with practs for the 4th sept music marathon...
mon after work, went with ronnie to collect my new 15" mac powerbook at funan...
oh yah, i forgot to mention.. i bought a 40gb ipod together with my powerbook..
and i trying to sell my 8mths old 30gb creative jukebox zen nx mp3 player...
wed reh at adrian's place for the trb choir..
thur went to esplanade recital studio for soundcheck...
soundcheck was ok...
had some stuffs sorted out..
can say it's our first run thru of the concert also...
then aft the sound check, we agree to have one more run of pract at nafa on tues evening...
OH Yes.... the trb choir concert is a sold out concert..
all tickets have been sold~ yeah~!!!!!
then today.... sat, 4th sept....
cos i was on duty yesterday...
i was at the office from 7am onwards...
the band reporting at 1245pm..
so i just bump ard the whole day....
then the chartered bus came n we board up the buses..
went over to orchard..
reach there abt 2pm..
set up the 2nd stage for the stage band set up...
then loiter abt till 2.50pm..
the big band kicks off the first performances by the saf bands..
the stage band, the normal set up for an jazz band... 5 sax, 4 trpts, 4 trbs, n the electric guitar, bass n keyboards... n percussion...
the combo band, add vocals n dancers minus most of the blowers...
then the central band tarts the 2nd segment at 4pm till 5pm...
aft the performace, i request to book out from there.. approved..
then i stayed with my "daughter", cos she's my successor to the nypSB's bass trombone...
to watch the philyouth performance...
aft the philyouth thingy, went to have dinner with karen n some of the philyouth pple..
then i left first, cos tired....
then i took train to tpy to collect my comics...
then took bus 73 home..
and tt's it for now~
